Traumatized Gorillas Are Being Saved

Orphaned gorillas in an area of the Democratic Republic of the Congo suffered from horrible traumatic conditions and experiences. Many of them have been taken away from the forest by poachers.  GRACE (Gorilla Rehabilitation and Conservation Education) is an organization that is helping to teach the gorillas how to survive in the wild by themselves as a "family." After teaching the gorillas how to survive, GRACE will release them into a forest near the Congo Basin. When rescued, many of the gorillas had bad wounds and some of them only survived for a couple of days. Hopefully, GRACE will succeed in teaching the traumatized gorillas.
