Smiling for the 1st Time

Sadie S.

A group of surgeons have a boat in Bangladesh that floats around the country fixing children and adults’ cleft palates. Because of the cleft palates, the children don't have a future. They say that they'll never marry and will never go to school. Surgeons are trying to fix the cleft palates to give the children a better future and the adults a new start. The surgeons float around on the boat doing this for about a week.

This little girl will be able to go to school, get married, and have a job because she got her cleft palate fixed.
Robby, 1 year old, got his fixed thanks to the surgeons on the boat and his father for caring enough for him to go get it repaired. He was very happy to see Robby's lips mended. Everyone on board are very thankful. =D
