The Oil Gulf Diasaster

Group members:Sophia LaBriola!(:

On June 15,2010 a horrifying disaster occurred on the coast of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. An oil mine exploded in the ocean! With oil everywhere and contaminated water surrounding;the poor ocean life was in a bad situation. Sadly most of the ocean life life such as birds, fishes(any breed), turtles and ect. There is really nothing we can do to help, besides trying to save some of these precious animals from the dangerous conditions that they are in. One idea we can do is get a large net and help get some of the oil out of the water. What citizens are doing to try and help is caring for the birds and taking them to local animal resources, such as The Audubon Society. They are caring and cleaning the birds.(: Now almost a year later, people are still trying to help clean up this major disaster! We pray that the oil will clean up before this year is over!(:
