Oil Spill :

   On the day of April 20th , 2010 , officials have reported a serious accident that is affecting ALL the animals in the Gulf of Mexico . They had discovered an underway pipe that carries thousands of gallons of oil had exploded in to the Gulf of Mexico . Everybody had been really concerned . Animals had exited the water smeared with oil all over their bodies , some came out but had no home to go back to . This oil infected lot's of homes , oil had traveled everywhere in the water and even killed many sea creatures . People began to soon realize this was a big problem when they weren't able to travel to the beach with their families because oil had washed up on the shore , and corpses of sea creatures were everywhere . "Community lovers" soon started recruiting others to help with the " BIG CLEAN UP ". Yet to know people where all over the beaches not only washing away the oil but picking up trash . The word had gotten out , and soon it was all across the nation about this cleanup , radio stations , shows , and many others started releasing information about these brilliant people . They also had created a sort of club thing that persuades kids to help keep the community around them clean for our pollution . It's a big help in getting kids ready for what life would be like when older , and how it could affect the world and their natural community . Now that this problem is over , people are now starting to take care of our world , and share ideas on making it a batter place . :) ( Above is a picture of a living creature soaked in oil , and how it is affecting not only affecting it physically but mentally . )
