They are hundreds of golden retrievers and other pets that are rescued each year from mistreated families, abandoned homes, and other horrors. Many dogs and other pets don't get the respect they deserve and get mistreated, but many organizations try to save these poor creatures and nurse them back to health and find loving families for them.
