Marriage before 18

                                  In America girls are married off as late as 40 but in other countries this is not the case. Such as India. Getting married early is a tradition.
 So that’s why children over there are getting married as early as nine. Well, in India this is very common. Children from ages ten to eighteen are getting married when they are still in school.  In fact woman named Pulmati Devi was married at ten years old. To  defy tradition is almost a crime and very few  remain single during there teen age years. But a girl named Rekha  Kumari did just that.  How? She was found by a organization called PathFinder. There mission is to teach girls about reproductive organs and marriage. PathFinder has helped over a hundred nations with this issue. Anyway her mother agreed to let her not get married as long as she could pay for her studies. Rekha Kumari agreed to this and now tutors twenty kids in her village and gets payed ten dollars a month which has payed for her studies. Rakha Kumari wishes when she graduates she wants  to teach girls about reproductive organs and marriage just like Pathfinder taught her. But more and more are staying single but this is still an issue all over the world.

Japan in help

 On Friday Mach 11th 2011, the island of Japan was hit with a 9.0 earth quake and then caused a massive tsunami.  So many people are helping clean up the mess that the tsunami that caused, and they are scrambling to find all the  missing people, and they are getting themfood and shelter, medics and more. Japan get the power from 5 nuclear power plants and on monday Mach 14,  2011 2 of the nuclear power plant blow up and made more problems for the people of Japan. They can not be with in 100 feet of the power plant. So many men, women and kids are trappedand can not get away ,and to make that even harder Japan is under water. Libya's Big Change

Libya is trying to boot           out of the leader chair after 40 years, but he will not leave without a fight so he is being a pest and killing everyone. Actually he is not doing it he makes the arm find little kids (ages low as 5 years old) and is forcing guns into little kids hands and making them kill their families. There are organizations helping like the Red Crescent. The Red Crescent is helping by getting people out of Libya and in to camps.

In Pakistan people are dieing because of all the floods that are happening.This has been going on for almost a month.This is a natural disaster its something that we cant control.We all are hoping that we get as many people out of that country. Anglina Jolie is there trying to help the people and the children. She is trying to put as many people on trucks and others things to try and get them out.  In pakistan all of he biuldings are getting destroyed.  We need as many people as we can get so we can try too help them more.  Since this is a natural disaster we need to get as many people out of there cause there is nothing we can do to stop the floods from happening.

Disasters in Japan

   
    In Japan, there was a 8.9 earthquake, that caused a tsunami on the north west coast. Right now the tsunami and earthquake have even caused a nuclear plant to explode sending out radiation. The death count is at about 10,000 people from all these disasters. American and Japanese soldiers were sent to find survivors, around 2,000 survivors were uncovered from all this mess. After the disaster, it left thousands homeless and fighting to survive without any supplies. Due to the fact that everything they own was destroyed in the tsunami and earthquake. I have even heard that there is a volcano that is all most ready to erupt. Plus the Nuclear Power Plants damaged from all the things that have been happening lately. Japan is a country with very little resources so they use Nuclear power for every thing with all of the 55 Nuclear reactors in Japan.

The number of dead is expected to rise, as rescuers reach more hard-hit areas.At least 3,118 people were still missing Tuesday.In Tokyo, many trains were not running or were severely delayed because of power outages.About 15,000 people have been rescued

The oil spill takes place in the gulf of Mexico ,off the southwest tip of Luisiana.Everyone is trying to help make the oil disapeer and doing many things to help. The BP brothers were mainly involved in the oil spill they were the cause of all this disaster.The main problem is that theres oil all over the ocean. To be exact it all began april 20,2010.The oil spill started after a gas explosion on a offshore oil drilling platform from a gas pocket. What can be done is that we can use nuclear blasts to successfully seal off runaway gas wells, inserting a bomb deep underground and letting its fiery heat melt the surrounding rock to shut off the flow. Collecting 80% of fines from the largest oil spill in U.S. history for Gulf Coast restoration but , Congress will have to pass legislation to make it happen.What organizations are helping? The BP, CNN, Coaliton to Restore Costal Luisiana, National Park Foundation's Disaster Recovery Fund but, we can all help. Wat are they doing to help?..Transocean hired around 600 employees both on and offshore who are involved in ending the spill, he says, but declined to say if BP would also be responsible for compensating those employees. they are trying their best but people are getting sick by, going down with nausea, severe headaches, and breathing problems after working in waters contaminated by the nation's worst oil spill. Although we can all help by donating money for all the affected animal only few of us are helping.

                        Haiti is still struggling one year later from the disaster. The south side of Haiti was hit by a whooping 7.0! It killed over 200,000 and still counting, and many people were injured. The Earth quake crushed everything including houses, cars, buildings, and most everything else. The plates shifted under Haiti that's what forced the ground to shake and rumble so hard and much. They are still looking for help they need food, clean water, tents, medical help, clothes and anything else that would help, you could also help by donating to the Red Cross or Can Do or a local organizations. You could even volunteer and help re-build houses, help the orphans and bring food and water. Can you believe that this was all in the year of 2010!  Any one can voulenter to clean off all of the oily pelicans and save their lives.
Currently the oil spill has been acting up and it is affecting the pelicans
 and us humans,the oil spill is causing us bad trouble.
The oil just started to pour out and keep on spilling and spilling and all that can be done is to keep raising money so they can clean the animals.
The two organizations that are helping are  The international bird rescue research center The Tri-state bird rescue.


This is one reason that the oil spill is bad.It kills the pelicans and other birds.

Wes Leonard collapsed and died after shooting a 20 point basketball shoot on

a Thursday.  I’m not sure what can be done. But what can done is having professional doctors to find out how he died. Dr.David A. Start, the Ottawa County chief medical examiner said Leonard died of cardiac arrest due to an enlarged heart. The autopsy revealed his enlarged heart. ’Wes was a great athlete, he never ran his mouth like most people do. It was always fun to play basketball with him,’ said Craig Peterson. When he died, he was only 17 years old, he was a junior at Fennville High School, and he died during overtime. His parents had his funeral on Sunday, and hundreds of people were filed by the casket to say their goodbyes. R.I.P Wes Leonard! Nobody can do anything while the earthquake is happening but, maybe after the earthquake, people can help find injured kids or adults and have organizations help clean up the place. As i said before that people are going to try and help clean up the house and also, get people treatment to be healthy and maybe if people are hurt they can take them to the hospital and make them feel better. In the Gulf of Mexico there has been a big oil spill  in witch has hurt many animals by covering them in oil.  This oil is starting to affect many places like Louisiana,Mississippi,Alabama and Florida coastal areas. So they have many people starting to help like  The Mobile Bay National Estuary Program witch is looking for people to help reduce the potential impact,plus The Coalition Coastal Louisiana’s witch is trying to restore and protect a sustainable coastal. The Audubon Soicietey witch is making its Center for birds of prey also the Alabama Coastal Foundation is collecting contact information for volunteers wanting to help.These local organizations also are gathering volunteers' information as they prepare for the environmental damage this oil can cause.I think that we should all try and help because these birds did nothing wrong and yet they are the ones covered in oil. Aid is Falling Short in Flood Devistating Pakistan

  In Pakistan September 20, 2010 there was a terrible flood. This flood effected all the people that live there. This was caused by a natural disaster that could not have been treated or stopped.The people can be helped by bringing them out by helicopters. The health authorities will also be trying to help these people in need of aid. These flood lasted seven whole weeks. Problems are also taking affect in Pakistan. Like health and food problems. With these conditions diarrhea can spread quickly. This can be a cause of having no shelter. Its sad to see these people in and with these problems. What if this happened to you what would you do?

    The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico started on April 20 when The Deep Water Horizon Offshore Drilling Rig exploded. The Great Spill

April 20, 2010.  This day was a devastating day for the sea animals and the world.  This day was the explosion of the oil in the Gulf of Mexico. Since this has accrued,  about 40,000 barrels of oil have exploded daily from the spill. Altogether it caused 90.1 million gallons.  This not only did this affect Mexico but it affected Nantucket, Massachusetts, Alaska, Southern California , Louisiana and Mississippi River.  This has been a tragedy for all species.  The animals it has been hurting are mostly sea animals and birds with way more than you can suspect.  If only the BP (British Petroleums) wouldn't have caused this horrible history.  There have been many story's of what has happened like, " Some man leaned on a button for the oil break" or "The blowout was not the product of a series of aberrational decisions made by rogue industry or government officials that could not have been anticipated or expected to occur again. Rather, the root causes are systemic and, absent significant reform in both industry practices and government policies, might well recur." say's the NRDC (Natural Resource Defense Council).  This oil spill out of many was the largest in history for the petroleum industries. As of I know, if you want to help there are many organizations that you can join to help the oil spill and help the poor creatures that need the most.  For example, National Wildlife Federation,  International Bird Rescue and Research Center,  National Audubon Society,  www.OilSpillVolunteers.com, Mobile Bay National Estuary Program,  Mobile Baykeeper,  The Louisiana Seafood Promotion & Marketing Board,  Save Our Seabirds,  The Greater New Orleans Foundation,  Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary,  Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research, Louisiana Bucket Brigade,  Deepwater Horizon,  Oxfam America,  Sierra Club are all great organizations to join.  This history is huge and you have to try and be involved.  So get out there help what the people have caused, for everyone's sake.

               There is a huge incident in Nigeria. Children are getting abused because there parents think there children are a different religion and they are some kind of which, and parents beat them. I personally think that the parents don't have the full education to know that, that is not possible for a child to become a witch. This problem started accuring, August 28, 2010. Some parents think  there child was born a which because of a pastor who had said that if your child has an illness then  the child will form a misfortune for the family itself. A foster care and CNN news are helping them to get food and get taken care of until there parents decide to take them back.

Many people use this water to wash there dishes and to take a bath . many people use a bucket and sock as there filtration and when they want to drink it they boil it even thou it gets rid of the bacteria it still the chemicals from the factories that dispense there trash in the water.this is still happening many people have died.Many have been left sick.It is a constant struggle to get clean water.This is how dirty the waters are many people take bathes in this water.

Child Marriages

Child marriage is a very common thing to find in Bihar, India. Most of girls don't want to get married, they a want to continue their studies. Most Girls are married in their teens and move in with their in-laws after puberty , and are pressured to have children. It is a norm to get married young and it would take a lot of courage to say no, but that is what Rekha Kumari did. She found  Path Finder International an organisation  that helps young girls learn about there reproductive organs and how to be a good wife. Rekha Kumari didn't want to get married so soon, she wanted to continue her studies, but she needed the money. So she tutors 20 children and makes about 10 dollars a month. Young girls are pressured from family and neighbors. Kalawati Kumari's  marriage was arraigned when she was only 11. At 19 she is a wife and a mother of one. She says she wishes she would have waited, she loves her baby but wants to study. Rekha Kumari is hoping to teach children like Path Finder about their reproductive organs. Maybe she can make a difference.

The Oil Spill

   I know a lot of people have heard and written about the oil spill in The Gulf of Mexico, but I've actually been there and just thinking about it makes me feel kinda bad. The oil spill is causing many dead fish and making it hard for sea animals or just animals in general to survive. This occurred in April 2010 and is still continuing.The Audubon Society is taking volunteers to help stop the spill and clean up the gulf. If the oil gets worse it could reach Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida coastal areas. Although people are helping the spill keeps getting worse. People have cleaned up animals that were covered in oil but many more still search for food in the gulf. Many people worry and hope that when they wake up in the morning everything will seem like the spill never happened, while many live by the gulf they have a hard time getting around the crowds. A lot of people could care less about the spill but it effects the whole ecosystem.

Pakistan Flood Continues To Cause Health Problems

  The Pakistan flood still has people suffering from awful health issues. Many residents of Pakistan were affected by the flood and there have been many reports of people getting sick, tremendously ill, even dying. Residents from different countries all around the world are pitching in penny by penny to help these poor, suffering people. Every little bit helps them out by paying for their medical bills or paying for a small meal on their plates. This may have not been the worst flood that has hit the world but no innocent person should suffer from these roaring waters. Some people have also gone missing since the flood. You may never know whether these residents are still swimming alive, hungry, suffering, or dying. The families of lost ones are probably worried to death and want their loved ones back home, safe, healthy, and sound. God bless these Pakistanis souls. What is cruelty?
Cruelty is when your mentally suffering, when your body is harmed,or left on your own to early.


Animal cruelty happens all over the world and with everybody.There are 500 billion animals all across the world that are being abused every minute of the day. People think that animals don’t feel things like humans do, but they do ! They use animals for food and food only so if an animal does not  produce enough food then they kill them. Animal's are just like humans they just are four legged.  We need to fix this problem and how we do this   by giving animals the right habitat, food, and enviorment.  When animal cops find people who hurt animals they usually go to court and if there is prof then the person will be put in jail. You also play a roll in this if you ever hear or see animal cruelty then call a local animal shelter or police station and remember animal cruelty is not just when the animal is getting physically hurt it can be lake of food or water.When an animal is brought into a shelter the animal gets spacious living,food,and water,but to be able to provide all that, shelters need donations or you can volunteer .  There are many organization to help stop animal cruelty but the most famous one is  the ASPCA.

Witch Craft

   For people who may not watch the news everyday there's some new things going on in the world, and it's happening in Nigeria. Mother's an parents are believing in Witch Craft, this is not a joke especially because kids are getting abused because of it. Kids are being left by them self with no one no food no shelter because parent's are saying there kid is a witch. Parents think there going to be killed by there kids. The Kids shelter is out helping get stranded kids and kids that have been left alone. I think that this is not a good situation kid's are just being left to die by there own parents. The worst part about it is that if the kid is kicked out and returns with out permission he or she may be killed and or stabbed to death, says a man from the shelter. Gathering around two brothers and there sister's as there mom is crying blaming the kids for being the resin there other siblings had died a while back. "I don't wanna be killed as well," she sobbed.          Seven weeks after the Pakistan Flood is Aid falling short, large chunks of the country still remain underwater. Approximately 20 million people need assistance, weather its for; Skin diseases lack of soap and clean water/ Diarrhea lack of sanitation/ Millions have no homes/ Pregnant / Hunger/ and lastly low on supplies and food, most farms are destroyed from the over flooding of their crops or crops are completely underwater. The U.S Marines are taking action in this disaster, plains are being used to drop of aid and try to soak up the majority of the water in the over flooded areas. There is not much we can do about this natural disaster.

In Cambodia, Human Trafficking is happening to young children and teenagers. They are taking the young children and teenagers into a house and any man that will pay $50 for them. This is current in the world right now. The people in charge only do this to get money. Kalawati Kumari Is Only 19 and her mom and dad planned her wedding when she was only 11, And after her body cycle she had to move in with her husband and have a child. Her Mom got married at the age of 10! and had her 1st of 7 kids at the age of 15! Its a Tradition families in Bihar girls are always getting married at a very young age. it is current thing. An organization that is trying to help is Path Finder International.Most girls don't even get to go to school they have to have a family and kids. Also most girls dont get to choose if they go to school. one girl had to beg her mom and dad not to get married so soon now she is teaching 20 kid and only getting 10 bucks a month.

Saving Lives in Nigeria

                      Nigerian children are being abused, abandoned, and killed due to belief in Witchcraft. This is simply caused by someone saying, "This person is a witch". Witch's are believed to bring illness, poverty, and misfortune. Children's parents are kicking them out of the house and refusing to let them back in to their homes. Some parents take their child to get delivered, but sometimes the pasture says its to late, and that the child has eaten to much flesh and can no longer be delivered. But when children get left out on the streets, they can go and    get a second chance. Local orphanages are taking in children who no longer have a place to live, and feeding them and giving them a better life. These people are giving children a blessing and making their lives better. Witchcraft is a sad and horrible thing and is having a big affect on children in Nigeria.

As a improper bread white tiger and with that becomes birth defects and Emo the tiger I think should live until he is dying of old age. On the other hand 1 out of every 10,000 tigers one is white in the wild.
So for me to see that Emo the white Bengal tiger is to stay in Bud and Carie's zoo until old age kills him. All is to be decided by Bud and Carie what happens to Emo.

    As a tiger it should not be in the zoo no animal should because it is not their home the wild outdoors is the home for them.

Devastating Flood in Pakistan
    Everyone who lives in Pakistan has been through this awful disaster. A big flood happened there  about seven weeks ago, and the people living there are still suffering from it. Skin diseases are forming on children because of no soap or clean water. This suffering is still happening and flood victims are devastated from losing there house! One thing that could be done to help these people is donate at least $1.594 billion dollars says Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. Civilian aid workers, Pakistan and International are helping Pakistan. Aid Short in Pakistan after Flood

Aid is falling short in Pakistan because of a flood.This happened in September 2010.Other countries could help bring aid to Pakistan. The U.S marines are helping bring aid and also food. Still some people in Pakistan are suffering from hunger and some aid. Diarrhea can be sped and other disease can be spread and the sun beats down on the stranded people are getting sun burn. They need about 2 million dollars in order to clean up what the flood has done to Pakistan

 The country Pakistan is flooding tremendously. It all started about seven weeks ago when it started to rain a lot. This is a terrible act of nature leaving many people scared and with out homes. Millions of children and pregnant woman are at risk. People are getting skin diseases because of the lack of soap and clean water. The U.S marines are trying to help,but they can only help so many people,but they're trying. Hopefully this will get better soon and the Pakistani people wont be scared any more.

Libya's aerial onslaught steps up pressure for a no fly zone. One of the reasons this is so important for them is that Gadhafi has been bombing his own people who are demanding for a change in power. On Thursday march 3rd Gadhafi sent 4 aerial strikes on to his protesters. Not a whole lot can be done other than, for people in Libya to keep up the pressure on the government. Even though Gadhafi is bombing them and trying to kill his own people, people are still trying very hard to run gadhafi out of town. Another thing we can do is give aid to the camps out of Egypt and Libya.

Somali pirates seize danish family yacht
While taking a well deserved cruise aboard the family yacht a danish family was taken by Somali pirates.The family didn't hesitate to surrender cause the pirates had guns pointed at them from every direction. This happened on February 24, 2011 in the Indian Ocean there has not been any reason why these modern day pirates have taken the family of 5 including children and parents.There is still no way to get the lost family home safely. There have been no actual attempts to recover the lost family. The only thing that I can say is that I hope that the family stays safe and they are able to get away from the Somali pirates.
