Egypt, Cairo

Victoria Aldaco

On January 25th, 2011 a crisis occurred in Egypt, Cairo. The internet was shut down, and the people of Egypt were in disgust with President Hosni Mubarak. Instead of discussing their opinion, they decided to resolve their anger, in violence. Blood filled the faces of the young and the elderly, lives were ended, and the situation still continues. On Wednesday, Hosni Mubarak showed his strength by, beating protesters with rocks, clubs, knives, and firebombs. Thursday, in the early morning military had shot 2 gunfire, in a result, two people were killed, and 45 were injured. More than 150 people have died in the week, and an estimate of 600 have been wounded. When will this madness end?
