FEMA

FEMA is an organization that helps people that are victims of natural disasters, man-made disasters, acts of terrorism. FEMA was formed on March 1, 2003 as part of homeland security. FEMA stands for Federal Emergency Management Agency. FEMA’s headquarters is in Washington D.C. They also have other facilities such as a training center in Maryland and the mount weather emergency operations center. FEMA often works with other organizations like the American Red Cross and 27 other federal agencies.

FEMA is a very important agency. The job it has is huge. Helping people in times of disaster is such a worthwhile thing to do.

i think its great that people are standing up to terrorism and helping out with natural disasters at the same time it takes a lot of work and a lot of courage to do what they're doing
