Hurricane Irene happened at the end of August in 2011 at the United States of America. This hurricane a very destructive and deadly Hurricane. A lot of people got hurt or died, it took buildings and trees down. Now that the hurricane is done they have to clean up the aftermath of Irene. Luckily they have organizations that help like The American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, Food Bank for Greater New York, and many more. They help with medical care and giving food. The people there should be very thankful for those organizations.
