Herricane Irene

On August 21st 2011 Hurricane Irene hit the east coast. It was a category 3 hurricane when it passed throw the Bahamas. Hurricane Irene hit New York City at approximately 9:00 am. The flooding has caused server damage it could cost up to $10 to $15 million to fix and repair the damage. It happened because it was atlantic hurricane sesion. The people who are helping is the Red Cross, Salvation Army and other local disaster unites. How you can help is by donating money or time to these organistions. They are helping by cleaning up sewedge and helping the homeless.
