Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital

Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital is the place I am going to choose to blog about, the reason I am blogging about this is because, they do, in my opinion, the best out of everything I looked at. A few things they do is help injured animals, they are the one of the leading animal hospitals in the Jefferson county district. Another thing I thought was really good for them to do is they take in abused and homeless animals and adopt them out. The animal hospital doesn’t believe putting animals down, that can’t be adopted out, if they have no luck they will take it to a dog ranch and let them live the rest of the dogs life there. They also do this with cats, birds, reptiles, etc. They go by the motto of “an animal life is as perishes as a human life…” So This is why I think the animal hospital is the best thing I researched out of everything.

I’m writing about habitat for humanity a place were people help the homeless. Have good people and kindhearted followers to help the people. The habitat for humanity is doing good for all the homeless around the world. It benefits the people that are homeless and live on the street that lost their home. The Table Mountain Center is a great organization for the pets in our world. This organization reunites pets with their families. If a pet is lost then the Table Mountain Animal Center will hang up signs for your lost pet in their building. They also adopt stray or abandoned animals into loving homes. There are many animals in our world that either have no homes or had homes until their family left them to fend for themselves. That is when the organization takes the animals in and cares for them until a new family adopts them. The way this organization pays for the supplies they need to care for the animals they take in is donations and a small adoption fee. I believe that the Table Mountain Animal Center is a great place for animals to stay until they are taken home.

WWF is World Wildlife Foundation. They are the ones who protect endangered animals all around the world. Right now they are trying to protect the 24 rhinos that are left in the world. The WWF is raising money to make safe zone, and they are also trying to stop hunters from kill rhinos. Rhinos are usually hunted for there heads and horns. A rhino head is wroth a lot of money. KIND program

KIND stands for kids in need of dentistry. This program helps kids from all over the world get dental care. Families who have low income but are working and don’t have dental care this program gives kids dental care. So far throughout Denver metro they have served over 4,000 kids annually. A kind mobile dental clinic travels over the western slope as well serving over 1,000 children annually. This program helps kids from all over and I think this program is great because kids need dental care. Especially because kids want to have a beautiful smile!!!!

Originally they were trying to end dolphin killings but in 1979 they changed their course then began to help endangered spieces worldwide. Arvada Fire Fighters

I was really impressed by the Arvada Fire Fighters for saving 22 out of 25 dogs from a fire. The fire started around 8 am at the Best Friends pet kennel in Wheat Ridge. Twelve dogs were taken to Wheat Ridge animal hospital. Ten other dogs were placed in another kennel on the property. Fire Fighter Steve Smith revived one of the dogs with his air tank mask. The Arvada Fire Fighters are definitely hero’s.

In Falluja, Iraq, on October 13 2006,14 year old Mohammed Rasoul was sitting on the sidewalk when a car bomb on his street went off. The bomb had killed his younger cousin and had also blown off his right leg. He later visited the U.S. and got a prosthetic leg. Going back to Iraq was the worst day of his life. He is out-growing the prosthetic leg and is soon planning to go back to the U.S. to get a new one. His mom said before she visited America the only America she new was the one who destroyed their homes and life, but when she actually visited America she saw everyone treating each other with kindness and humanity.

The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. They give toys for underprivileged children. They are giving more than just toys to the kids; they give inspiration and hope to the family. Susan G. Komen: Race for the Cure

The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is an extraordinary foundation. Every year they hold a Race for the Cure where you have the choice to enter the competitive 5k run or the non-competitive 5k walk, which goes all throughout Denver. Volunteers manage to handle and run this national event. Entering costs a fee of 30-35$ and all of the money goes to researching a cure for breast cancer. 1.5 million people support this foundation and many manage to donate more than the required 35$. If more people would do this then breast cancer could possibly be cured.
