The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is an extraordinary foundation. Every year they hold a Race for the Cure where you have the choice to enter the competitive 5k run or the non-competitive 5k walk, which goes all throughout Denver. Volunteers manage to handle and run this national event. Entering costs a fee of 30-35$ and all of the money goes to researching a cure for breast cancer. 1.5 million people support this foundation and many manage to donate more than the required 35$. If more people would do this then breast cancer could possibly be cured.
