On Friday 11 March at 2:46pm local time, an 8.9 magnitude earthquake struck close to the north east coast of Japan approximately 250 miles from Tokyo. Japan 10,000 people died in the earthquake in 2011. The giant waves deluge cities rural areas cased the tsunami in Japan. The American Cross are helping Japan by providing donated cloths or shoes. The earthquake cased flooded streets and cars under water.
