Hurricane Irene hit the East Coast. The Hurricane hit as far as
New England to
Florida, some of the worst struck states were
Vermont, New Jersey, and upstate New York. The storm
killed over 43 people. The East coast was ruined. People are with out power and shelter because of the flooding. We all wanted to stop this hurricane but we couldn't. There are a few organizations helping such as
Red Cross and Islamic Relief USA. The Red Cross provided about
54,000 overnight shelters and the Islamic Relief USA sent to teams of volunteers too help the shelters in New Jersey. What we can do is
help shelters, make donations and donate things.
