The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico started on April 20 when The Deep Water Horizon Offshore Drilling Rig exploded. When the rig exploded, gallons of oil were tossed strait into the Gulf of Mexico, leaving thousands of animals devastated. Thankfully, many organizations are doing their part to help. For example, The Audubon Society, Alabama Coastal Foundation, Mobile Bay National Estuary Program and many other programs are donating money and helping clean up the oil spill. These organizations are constantly taking in new volunteers to help them. Knowing this, what can you do to help?
