I chose the American Red Cross as one of the good things in the United States to write about. They helped out with Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana in August 23, 2005. They help wherever they can in the world. Whether there is a Hurricane or an Earthquake, whether it’s in China or Great Britain the American Red Cross is there. The Red Cross is a good volunteer program. I always see them helping out everyone after a major natural or people disaster. Everyone that joins Red Cross has a big heart and cares about everyone
